About Games Like Krillion

We started Games Like Krillion because the game left us wanting more like it. Its mix of trivia and restraint, knowing the answer and deliberately not giving the obvious one, is rare, so a useful guide has to say honestly how close each alternative really is instead of pretending there are a dozen Krillions out there.

Who runs this site

Games Like Krillion is made by the team behind Gamefinity, a site of free games that start in a second in your browser. We write and check every page here ourselves.

Not affiliated with Krillion or its solo developer. We name Krillion only to say what this guide compares against, and we link to Krillion itself so you can always play the original.

How we pick and test games

For this guide we judged every game against four things a Krillion dive asks for: answers from your own memory, a clock, one shared set a day, and a reward for knowing what others don't. We read each game's own rules and pricing on its maker's site, and we wrote down what part of Krillion it shares and what it does not.

Every game on the guide was opened on its maker's own site (or its official store page) on the date shown beside it, where we confirmed that it exists, what it is, what it costs and where it runs. We write what it is, why it is like Krillion and what is different in our own words. We take no payment or free copies for a place on the list, and nothing here is an ad. When a game changes, closes or starts charging, we update or remove it.

Our own games on the list

4 of the 13 picks (Common Ground, Daily Trivia, Older Than You Think, Rank It) are games we make. They carry a "Made by us · Gamefinity" label everywhere they appear, their Play links go to gamefinity.io, and they get the same rating scale as everything else. We only include one of ours where it is a fair answer to "what should I play if I like Krillion?", and we say what it does worse as well as what it does well.

How the ratings work

Ratings are ours, out of 5, in halves. They rate each game as a pick for someone who likes Krillion: how close the fun is, how well it plays on a phone and a computer, how fair its price or ads are, and how much of it there is. They are not review scores collected from anywhere else.
